The World has turned and left me here.

What a nice weekend of doing nothing but still having a great time! I went to my first Mets game of the season and discovered that if you get there an hour before the game they let you go down in the lower level without much fuss. Something to remember for sure next time. This past week got me really excited for summer With Flag Day just around the corner things are looking good.
Go here to learn more about FLAG DAY!

I also went to go see Forgetting Sarah Marshall and and that was great. So all and all an pretty fantastical weekend. Nothing much else to talk about so here is a video of canada driving to canada.

1100 Miles: Bees, Beers, Blue Jays and Baseball

What a Fantastic weekend! As you can read in the previous post we took a jaunt up to Toronto to visit our favorite station in Toronto CFRE. They were kind enough to let us do a radio show. You can go here and listen to it. But let me warn you it is 3 hours ... the first hour is DJ EARL GREY (matt from CMJ) then DJ PANTS takes over (Canada from Pirate) the third hour is your very own douginthehouse . There are some good parts and some parts that we wish we could take back but overall it was a blast so listen and let us know what you think! Also if you want us to do a radio show at your station let us know and we will plan our next trip around it!

There are also a lot of photos from the trip you can go here and check them out!

thanks!

500 miles is a long drive inside a car.

Tomorrow morning we are waking up very very early and making the trek to Toronto!
While we are there DJ EARL GREY, douginthehouse and DJ PANTS will be doing a radio show on the fantastic radio station CFRE! Click there to listen . Should be around 7pmEST .

Saturday will find us at the Skydome to see the Toronto Blue Jays play professional baseball vs the Tigers of Detroit. Not sure what the rest of the weekend will hold but I will come back Monday with a ton of photos and stories i do hope!

Just got the new Blood Red Shoes record on Import and on first listen I think it could be one of my favorites. No idea when the record comes out over here but here is a Video for ADHD that i have enjoyed for some time.

And lastly I went to see the Constantines last night in New York . I shot some pretty crappy video of it for you to look at if you like.

It is sideways for the first 45 seconds cause I am not very bright and thought I could edit it later. However you can go see them on tour now and you don't have to watch them sideways ..unless you want to.

1) watching baseball
2)eatting sandwiches
3) bowling
4) seeing a great band.
well then my life would be perfect.

I have posted the first song from the show on staturday. I was not in the best place to watch it but hopefully you can get a feeling of how great they are live.

Ladies and Gentlemen Mr. Randy Watson!

This weekend was to mark the weekend I made the trip up to Toronto to see my first Baseball game of the season AND my first game at the Toronto Skydome. Sadly Canada ( the person) got sick and we have postponed our trip but will make the trip in 2 weeks so all is well. Every year I go to at least one new baseball stadium in my quest to hit them all. This year I am going to the Skydome and to the stadium in Seattle. Hopefully a few more but those 2 for sure.

Here are the stadiums i still need to go to: Oakland, Seattle, Minnesota, KC, St. Louis, Houston, White sox, Tampa Bay, Miami, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Arizona Detriot and the new ballpark in DC.

So back to this weekend. Not too much happened but on Saturday I had a craving to see Coming to America. So at first I tried my hand at downloading movies and well I have no idea how to do that. Then early on Sunday I went to the Virgin Megastore and got it for 10 bucks!
The You tube video above is from the movie if you have not seen it..its pretty magical.

This week I am going up to Boston! Red Sox...maybe some MAN MAN.. and good times.

OH one last thing... I got Rick Rolled for the first time last week and it seems to be in the news a lot ...I found this site that i thought was lots of fun ( not a rick roll i promise) its a dialer that will dial your friends and play "never gonna give you up " http://www.prankdialer.com/
AND while we are at it... there is a group of people trying to RickRoll the METS!
So far it has over 80,000 votes ... go here http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/nym/fan_forum/singalong_vote_form.jsp
and vote for Rick Ashley--never gonna give you up... good times
